Lanaya over at Raising Reagan {Guest Post}

Hi friends! My name is Lanaya and I blog over at Raising Reagan.

So a little about me you ask? I am on the right side of thirty to still feel young, a wife, business owner and mother to a very precocious two year old named Reagan. I'm a self diagnosed obsessive compulsive, a Gemini that definitely has two personalities and am working on becoming a reformed perfectionist. I swear...I am trying. I used to work in the fast paced world of finance and investments but now my life is busy in a whole new way, as a mom. A job I never thought I would have.

When my husband and I first got together one of the things that we both loved was that we were very career oriented and decided that kids were never going to be in the cards for us. Well... a fabulous holiday party and seven weeks later we found out we were pregnant. It took us both by surprise as we embraced our new fate in life...to be parents.

Reagan is now two, talks better than most three year olds and is taller than some four year olds. She is kind of a genius child which scares the heck out of me. Her teenage years are already haunting me and I am thinking boarding schools are in her future...in London or Paris. No, in all seriousness she is an awesome kid and I love her to death. I wouldn't want to change her for the world, even if some days she looks at me like I have two heads and shouldn't be speaking to her because SHE is queen bee in our house.  

 I am so excited to see what the New Year will bring for my family and I. Brian and I are considering having another baby to give Reagan a playmate. I know...no kids to hey, you wanna have another one? It's still a discussion and I'm not sure I am committed but we will see. For now I am going to keep providing the best educational toddler toys to the United States, raising Reagan to the best of my ability and enjoying my life, keeping in mind to not take things too seriously! Speaking of which..I just realized that every picture of me lately...I have glasses on! What the heck?? I used to brag about my vision being better than 20/10 in both eyes..Ugh! I'm thinking a visit to the optometrist is in my future. Boo. :( Come by and say Hi sometime over at Raising Reagan.
